Description
Griswold A 802 Gem muffin pan . this is one of the hardest pans to add to your collection . Label reads Heart Star Erie Pa., U.S.A. A 802 GRISWOLD Pat: D . May 18. 1920. This pan is usually marked and known as a #100 muffin pan, it is a 5 heart 5 sided star model [ 6 heart 6 sides is a #50 ] but this pan is not marked #100 front or back . the front is marked No. 802 . I believe this is the earliest model A 802 , before the distinction between #100 s and #50s . I have not attempted to clean , polish , or mess with this item in any way , as found condition.
